I began my journey through a 5 week course called Diabetes Undone. It focused on a whole food plant based diet. This was a huge learning curve for me so I signed up for Rebecca’s course which took a deeper dive into the concepts we had learned. Rebecca and I were mindfulness partners.
Each of the sessions were powerful in their own way but there was one particular one in which Rebecca lead me on a meditation and asked me to envision my future. I realized at this point that, despite all my personal mindfulness practices, I still didn't actually have a firm grasp on what I really wanted for my future. Of course, I had a plan but the plan was not really accounting for the fact that it wasn't going to fulfill me in the ways that I would like to be fulfilled. This exercise made me realize that I need to be more specific with my manifestations, think bigger and better, and really get down to what I want and what makes me happy before I start envisioning my future. I am so very grateful to Rebecca for allowing me to see this!
